Did not miss a detail on this 1st floor renovation! Complete with new flooring, railings, doors, walk in pantry, fireplace and surround, added windows for more lighting, custom built range hood mantel, book shelves, wall trim and barn door. And of course new cabinets and countertops. The wood accents paired with the hunter green island and book shelves really make for a nice cozy feel. Removing walls can make all the difference from feeling dark and cramped to open and spacious! As in this case, this changed the entire feel of the first floor of this Catonsville duplex. Custom made breakfast nook and entertainment center! The top was made with 4 separate boards that we joined together to make one gorgeous looking oak top! We also added some storage in the bench to make best use of the space.

This kitchen has much to be desired!! We were able to expand this kitchen by adding a HUGE island, and eliminating a pantry closet to make room for pantry cabinets to give it a more built in look with tons of pullouts for better functionality. On the flip side we eliminated a coat closet to make room for a perfect entryway cubby space!
